We encorage to explore one the most attractive volcanoes in Costa Rica. A scenic drive through the green countryside up to the top of Poás Volcano. Huges coffee and strawberys plantation a long the way. Poas is consider one of the widest accessible volcanic craters in the world offering an accessible walk to the edge of the crater where is possible to observ the active freatic lagoon with it’s beatiful and changing colors. The park offers two different trails for a short or medium walk in it’s exuberant cloud forest. Cafeteria and a giftshoop are available on site.
The second part of the trip will be the visit to Doka Coffee Plantations located on the fertil sloves of Poas and Barva Volcanoes. Whit more that 130 years in constant operation, this coffee farm represent in a very farly way, the tipical costarrican develop a long the almost two centuries as a coffee country producer. An unic way to taste the costarrican history and of course it’s coffee, worlwide reconiced as one the best coffee in the world.
